2 cups filtered water

1 – 32 oz package of frozen lima beans

4 large peeled and chopped organic carrots

4 cups of chopped kale

1 pint of ****organic or farm fresh grass-fed raw cream

1 – 8 oz package of ***uncured or organic *****turkey bacon

1/2 large onion, chopped

*1/4 cup Bragg’s liquid amino’s or ****organic soy sauce

1 cup pre-soaked cooked brown rice or white rice.

Bring chicken stock and 2 cups filtered water to a boil.  Add frozen lima beans and simmer for 20 minutes.   Add in seasonings, onions, carrots, bacon, and soy sauce.  Simmer 20 more minutes.  Add rice and chopped kale, cover and simmer until it is cooked down.  Stir in cream and serve.

*Bragg’s liquid amino’s is a non GMO source of soy protein.  It has no added salt.

**Necessary to avoid radiation of spices.  Yes, non organic spice have been irradiated, which destroys their antioxidants.

***Cured meat products contain nitrites that have been known to contribute to stomach and brain cancer.  Salt is a natural curate.  Nitrites are not necessary.

****Organic is a good way to make sure you are not consuming GMOs like Monsanto’s recombinant bovine growth hormone, antibiotics, or animals that have been fed GMOs.

*****Pork is inherently infested with trichina worms.  Studies have shown that these parasites can sometimes survive higher temperatures than average cooking would give.  Most pork today is treated for them and while it removes the parasite issue it is important to understand that these treatments themselves could be considered toxic.
